ADM Chicago Meets Congresswoman
On July 19th, 2009, the Chicago Assyrian community hosted a rally/fundraiser for Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky at the ChaldoAssyrian Community Center in Skokie, Illinois. Local committee representatives of the Illinois chapter of the Assyrian Democratic Movement participated in the event. The event lasted approximately two hours, from 7-9pm, and included key speeches from community representatives as well as Congresswoman Schakowsky. ADM USA & Canada Press release The Assyrian Democratic Movement USA and Canada Branch Committee held an exceptional meeting on June 6th & 7th, 2009 in Michigan to induce the ADM branch members in this crucial period of our ChaldeanAssyrianSyriac nation. These difficult times prompted the ADM branch to discuss and resolve many issues depicting the forthcoming course conceding with ADM principles. The meeting agenda included ADM internal organizational issues, ADM relations with national organization’s political parties and the ADM Symposium that was held in Iraq.
