Seminars and Meetings of Mr. Yonadam Kanna in Dohuk

As part of the electoral campaign for Al-Rafidain List (389) and media build-up that is organized by the election commission in Dohuk Branch of our movement, a seminar was held in the presses of a very large gathering on Tuesday February 23rd, 2010 on Bebedeh Village Hall organized by Sapnah Chapter of our Movement.

Mr. Kanna talked about the political and security situation and the preparations for the upcoming elections to the Iraqi Parliament, especially the (quota) seats for our nation, and also urged the public to participate effectively and cast their ballots. Candidates of 389 list Dr. Wahied Abdoul-Ahhad, Mr. Nisan Merza and Mr. Emad Youkhanna for Kirkuk Province spoke to the audience, on existing programs and what distinguish our 389 list from other lists, as the vast experience of its members, its independent decision and free will, the honorable positions on the issues that concern our people in addition to the gains made in the region and the country.
The delegation then went to Mangaish and met with the village mayor and the priest, Father Mumtaz: pastor of the village and a number of families.

In conclusion, Mr. Kanna and his delegation met with the local chapter of (Braiety) of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the delegation was received warmly by Mr. Arif Baddy: chapter director and a number of its members. The meeting discussed a number of issues of common concern and ways to strengthen relations between the parties in serving public interest.
Mr. Kanna was accompanied by the delegation from Dohuk Branch of our Movement included Mr. Yousef Esho member of the leadership, Mr. Dawod Adam: Deputy Branch Director, Mr. Isaac Yaco, Mr. Dawod Nisan members of the branch. In the city of Dohuk and at five o’clock in the evening of the same day and at the Assyrian Cultural Center Hal, Al-Rafidain List held a seminar for a large audience from the city, including representatives of civil societies and a number of members of the leadership, where Mr. Kanna talked about the latest political developments and security and the outcome of his trip to Jordan, Syria and Lebanon and a number of European countries, the United States, and Canada and he also talked about his meetings with our institutions, national, religious, political, and large crowds of our people.
