Zowaa – Special

Arrived to Bartellah on February 27^th, 2010 the head of Al-Rafidain List Mr. Yonadam Kanna and was received by the Kaleh Branch of our Movement and a number of organizations and crowds of supporters of List 389 that gathered at the Al-Qua’a El-Dahabiya (Golden Hall) including our candidates Ms. Khalida Shaba and Mr. Basim Ballo.

Mr. Jamal Denha: Kaleh Branch Director welcomed the distinguished guests on behalf of Al-Rafidain List, stressing on the honesty of our list in fulfilling its obligations and promises to our nation and its sacrifices in this long process. The head of our List 389 talked about the visits to our people and the reality of their living conditions; also he touched on the political realities in the country and to the constitutional amendments and the issue of partnership in homeland.

On the issue of our List 389, Mr. Kanna talked about the nature of the existing components and the skills of their candidates in academics, and noted the achievements of List 389 on gaining major benefits to our people and he also spoke about the quota and the efforts in making it one constituent.

Also Al-Rafidain List 389 held on February 27^th, 2010 a seminar in Karamles that was attended by candidates from our list, Mr. Yonadam Kanna, Ms. Khalida Shaba and Mr. Basim Ballo including Mr. Jamal Denha: Kaleh Branch Director. Mr. Jalal Eshso: Karamles Chapter Director welcomed the distinguished guests on behalf of the audience.

The head of Al-Rafidain List 389 talked about the political and security situation in the country, stressing that civil peace does not come with weapons, but to achieve justice and equality in the country stressing the need for the rule of law referring to the quota system and its repercussions on the small components, including our nation.

Regarding the electoral law, Mr. Kanna referred to the nature of the open list, stressing that Al-Rafidain List have chosen competent candidates and from various areas from our country.

He also talked about the reasons for its acceptance in accordance with the quota specific seats in certain provinces that have a historic presence of our nation. Mr. Kanna also mentioned features of our list 389, which has independent decision, credibility and defend the interests of our people, noting that the roots of the Al-Rafidain List are because we are one nation and explained the achievements of our list during the previous parliamentary session.

At the end, the head of our List 389 answered questions from the audience and our candidates also presented their biography to the attendees.
