Zowaa – Erbil ~ Dr. Jihan Ismail Benyamin: Member of KRG Parliament for the Al-Rafidain List of the Assyrian Democratic Movement (member of the Committee on Religious Affairs in the Parliament); met on Tuesday July 20, 2010 His Grace Bishop Bashar Matti Warda: bishop of Erbil for the Chaldean Church at his residence in the Diocese in Ankawa. Dr. Jihan congratulated the ordination of His Grace as a Bishop of the Erbil Diocese, wishing His Grace all the success in serving the church and the faithful members.

Two sides discussed, during the meeting, a range of issues related to religious affairs and the need to declare many legislations that will serve our Christian people and our Holy Church. At the end of the meeting, His Grace Bishop Bashar Matti Warda wished Dr. Jihan Ismail all the success and valued her work as a member of the Committee on Religious Affairs, to serve our nation.
