Zowaa – Arizona ~ On July 13, 2010 a delegation from Arizona Chapter of the Assyrian Democratic Movement represented by Mr. Emmanuel Bet Younan: Arizona Chapter Director and a number of members of the chapter visited His Grace Bishop Mar Yaco Daniel: bishop of Australia and New Zealand of the Ancient Church of the East during his visit to Arizona. The two sides discussed the conditions of our people in Australia and in the United States; then at the end of the meeting the delegation wished His Grace Mar Yaco a pleasant stay.

On July 15, 2010 the delegation participated in the reception of His Holiness Patriarch Mar Addai II: Patriarch of the Ancient Church of the East in Iraq and the world, at the Sky Harbor airport in Arizona; while His Holiness is in a tour in the U.S. to meet the parishioners and faithful members of the church. The delegation presented a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the Movement welcoming His Holiness Mar Addai II and wished him a pleasant visit.  In the evening of the same day, a delegation of our Movement attended a gala dinner held in the Mar Giwargis church hall in the honor of His Holiness Mar Addai II. 

On the other hand, His Holiness Mar Addai II thanked the delegation and wished the Movement all the success to continue serving our nation and appreciated and valued the struggle of our Movement and the sacrifices of its members to obtain the legitimate rights of our people in homeland.
