After our brothers in the Movement have completed their Summit Conference in Baghdad successfully, during some unstable conditions in all respects; first I wish to congratulate the participants and the winners of the election of the Central Committee and the Secretary-General of the Movement.
The talk about the sacrifices of the Movement and its struggle and stance would not be covered by an article of a page or two. It is a history of sacrifices that includes many stages of pitfalls that have caused some lapses, but what gives hope is the rational that has always been a companion to the Movement’s work and this rational caused sustainability in its journey and gained the Movement a continuous support of our people. The meeting addressed the political process and the efforts to form the federal government and the obstacles facing this process. 		<description><![CDATA[Zowaa &#8211; Special ~ In the capital city of Baghdad and for the period from August 12 – 16, 2010 the Sixth Summit Conference of our Assyrian Democratic Movement – Zowaa took place. Attendees of the Summit Conference were about 282 delegates representing various chapters and branches of the Movement in homeland and abroad. These delegates were elected in various conferences to attend the Summit Conference to represent their chapters and branches of the Movement.
First session of the Summit Conference started with a minute of silence in tribute to the martyrs of our Chaldean Syriac Assyrian nation and martyrs of our Movement. 		<description><![CDATA[Zowaa &#8211; Special ~ Hadeer Saad Daniel is one of our Chaldean Syriac Assyrian students from Bartila that earned the highest GPA and became the honor graduate among all high schools in Iraq for this school year with 99.83% score in her final tests. The test results (Baccalaureate Exams for high schools to enter university) were confirmed and with that our high school honor graduate, Hadeer Saad, proved that our nation is the one who have built civilizations and is still continuing providing the intellectual minds the world.
Congratulations for our graduate Hadeer Saad Daniel and for her family and our nation on her highest achievements.

		<description><![CDATA[Zowaa – Special ~ A delegation from the leadership of the Assyrian Democratic Movement and a number of its members, attended, on Tuesday evening of July 27, 2010 the funeral mass for Bishop Mar Andraos Abouna: Auxiliary Bishop of Baghdad to the Patriarch of the Chaldean Church. The funeral mass was held at Mar Yousef Church for the Chaldeans in Ankawa / Erbil. The delegation of the Movement included members of the leadership, Mr. Younan Hozaya: Deputy Secretary General of the Movement and Mr. Idris Merza: Public Relations Director of the Movement and a number of cadres from Erbil Branch of the Movement.

Mar Andraos is known for defending and fighting for peace between Iraqi factions and has great stance in maintaining the unity of the people of our Chaldean Syriac Assyrian. H.E. Mar Andraos is also known for promoting a unified religious dialogue and strengthening the unity of Iraqis to safeguard and consolidate the national unity and supports the diversity of Iraq. H.E. 		<description><![CDATA[Zowaa &#8211; Zakho ~ For the fifth year in a row and since its establishment on October 1, 2005 Zakhota Syriac High School has the highest graduation percentage in the entire district. It is ranked the second after the Distinguished High School of Zakho, and has achieved good standing with its students achieving high grades.
