  • Shower, Exfoliate, Shave (night before preferably) - come to session with dry, clean skin.
  • Be dry for at least 30 minutes before your session.
  • Remove moisturizer, body lotion, perfume, deodorant, makeup and sunscreen.
  • Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing, bathing suit, flip-flops.
  • Do not wear white clothing, tight clothing, bras, wristbands, leather, nylon, wool, silk, jewelry.
  • Avoid waxing, dermabrasion, facials within 24 hours before your spray tanning session.
  • Have hair pulled back off face & neck.
  • Do not use any oil-based product �24 hours before your session.

  • Avoid perspiring, washing hands and other water activities as this may cause streaking.
  • Do not put on tight clothing for least 4 hours.
  • Do not exercise (first day). Perspiring immediately after tanning alters the chemical reaction
    of the spray tan solution changing its color.
  • Do not swim or immerse in water.
  • Do not apply moisturizer until after your first shower.
  • Wait at least 6 hours before showering. We recommend waiting until the next day and using
    an alcohol-free shower gel. You will see color washing off the first time you shower-
    this is normal.
  • Moisturize twice a day with alcohol free lotion. Hydrated skin makes your tan last longer. 
    Alcohol based products are drying to the skin making the tan fade quicker. We recommend
    using a tan-extender lotion, which moisturizes and adds a hint of color while also adding
    3-5 days to the life of your tan.
  • Use sharp razors.
  • Avoid exfoliating skin.
  • Hair removal and bleach products on your skin.
  • Avoid long, hot baths or showers and pat dry with towel after showering.
  • Keep in mind that hot tubs, pools and oceans can cause your tan to fade faster.  If you'er on
    a fabulous vacation and can't avoid these, use a waterproof sunscreen to seal it in.
  • Although you feel and look tan, you ABSOLUTELY need to apply sunscreen when exposed to
    the sun because your skin is not protected!
